Finally....James Lafferty graces our tv screen again! - CRISIS

If you ask me, it has been way to long, that we have seen James Lafferty on tv. The last time that I saw him in action was in the "One Tree Hill" finale in 2012 in his signature role as "Nathan Scott".

Now, two years later he is part of an exciting new tv show called "Crisis" and here is what you need to know:

In the pilot a bus full of highschool kids gets kidnapped. Well those kids are not any kids though.....they go to "Ballard High School" and are Washington DC´s elite and that includes the presidents son! You red correctly, they even managed to kidnap the freaking presidents kid!! Turns out that one of the kids father, Francis Gibson, who pretends to be a more then awkward chaperon on the field trip, seems to be the one who orchestrated the whole thing. He is a former CIA agent who got betrayed by the government. Susie Dun, a FBI agent learns, that her niece is amongst the kidnapped students. Well this is not correct actually.....Amber (the kid that I talked about in the earlier sentence) is not her niece, but her DAUGHTER who got raised by Meg as her own. Seems like there are so many hidden secrets just waiting to be uncovered!
So as the parents freak out and the FBI has no idea, who they are dealing with; the kidnappers start to contact the parents by using burner phones which they planted at their homes (in the mail......clever guys ;) ). They give them the chance to get their kid back.....all they have to do is something they wouldn´t normally do....like lie to someone or kill a person. The question you ask yourself is sim´ple: "How far are those parents willing to go to get their child back?!"......the dynamic that develops from this high stress situations is just crazy. You hold you breath every time one of those burner phones goes off.
The kids are brought to a mansion of some sorts and are being held there....they just need to pray that their parents would do anything to get them home!

I really like the first 2 episodes that I watched so far. The storyline is something I haven´t seen before and the characters are very versatile! I´m especially curious what Francis and Meg are all about.

If you like drama, action and adrenaline filled tv shows, you should really check this out. And if you like to solve "puzzles" you just turn on this tv ;)! And even if James Lafferty seems to have a smaller role, it´s still so good to see him doing his thing, just amazing. Plus I think his story line will heat up soon, too :)
