Under the dome....and the one thing they should not have done!
Hey everyone I know "Under the dome" is on for a while now and the first season is already over but I thought it´s time to introduce you to one of my favourite new shows.
The first time I heard about this new show I was actually in Wilmington and the tourguid on the "Wilmywood" tour told us, that there would be this amazing new show by Brian K. Vaughan about a city that is trapped under a mysterious dome. I´m not a big science fiction fan but when I returned I thought I should just check it out and see how much of Wilmington I could recognize. The minute the show started I thought.....okay this is my kind of show, there is at least one hot character:
Okay his name would turn out to be "Barbie" but I can get over that,...after all this is just a nickname right:)
So I enjoyed the storyline and the actors are really good. The special effects where amazing and then there it was, the moment that almost made me quit this promising show:
THEY USED THE BRIDGE!! THEY ACTUALLY HAD THE GUTS TO ABUSE THE TREE HILL BRIDGE!!!!!!
If this is the first post you read on my blog let me give you a heads up: This bridge shown in the pic above is also used in the most amazing tv show ever created One Tree Hill and this is where it belongs. As an OTH superfan I could barely watch the scenes on and around the pressious bridge. How could they do this? There are hundrets of other ones in Wilmington! Well anyways I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and they did not disappoint me:) Thank god they haven´t used the bridge in other scenes (yet).
I really like the diverse characters with all these secrets and the fact that there is/was another mini-dome. If you guys like good acting and mysterious domes, complicated relationships and sexy actors you should definitely check out "Under the dome".
