Back to Bluebell - Hart of Dixie S3E1
Apparently its been a real loooong summer for Zoe Hart because in the season 3 premiere of our favourite southern show "Hart of Dixie" she decides to come back to Bluebell to say a proper "goodbye" after 5 months!! Yeah you guys red right 5 (!!) months.....and let me tell you: A lot has changed. But lets start at the beginning:
Apparently Zoe has made up her mind when it comes to men and if there are any George or Wade fans screaming of joy right now I have to disappoint you. The new man in Dr. Harts life is called Joel and is a somewhat successfull writer from New York. Come on Zoe this is SO cliché!
Well anyways our doctor did not end things very straight foreward with her friends in Bluebell: We learn that she only wrote an E-Mail to let everyone know, that she won´t be back....very grown up Zoe....NOT!! So her good-guy boyfriend tells her to go to Bluebell one more time to tell everyone in person that she´ll leave forever and to get her recommendation letter from her "partner" Dr. Breeland. As you can imagine things do not go as smooth as Joel thinks they will;)
When Zoe arrives in the little town, who does she meet first?! Wade. My little fan heart was beating faster....guys that HAS to mean something right? I mean of all the people in Bluebell she first meets the one who declared his love to her before she left for NYC?? But it seems as he has moved on and does not have any hard feelings about how those two left things. So lets see what everyone else is up to:
The rest of the town is in church praying and discussing how they can safe their Founders Day Parade. In a moment of silence Dr. Hart bursts into the holy place....girl knows how to make an entrance, very classy:)
So it turns out no one is very happy about her return to Bluebell, they are very mad at her about the way she let them know that she wont come back. Thats somehow understandable, I mean I would be mad if someone would not have the decency to tell me that they are leaving for good in person. So Lavon seems to be the only one who is more or less okay with her being back but he has rented Zoes old place to his niece. So the doc has to look for another place to crash....really bad timing, because of the Founders Day Parade there are a lot of people in town. In church we also learn, that George is MIA after he went on tour....apperently Tansy doesnt want anything to do with him after she found out that he wrote a song about how much Zoe hurt his heart. But with the parade in jeapardy the town is in desperate need of a lawyer; and whos better then Georgie?? Right, no one!! So after looking for a place to sleep Zoe ends up in a super creepy motel where she finds George by accident. But judging on the look on his face when he opens the door, he isnt really interested in talking to her.
Lets see what Lemon is up to: Apparently she has someone new in her life, too. She leaves her mystery- man a few messages, because she wants to end things. But her Belle-friends are already gossiping about who it could be.Later it turns out it was.....drummroll please: Meatball! To be honest I did not even know that someone by this name even lived in Bluebell, but you always learn something new right?! But Lemon, really? I mean you are a Southern-Belle, I get that you might want to experiment and look for other, new and exciting things, but Meatball???? Well lets just wait and hope that she comes to her senses!
So after George has been all cleaned up by Lemon he (of course) safes the Founders Day Parade and everyone is happy again:) Well everyone but Wade. As expected the poor guy still is not over the doc and after Lemon finds out that Zoe has a boyfriend (yes, Joel came all the way from NY to see his girlfriend....just go away Joel. It´s Zade not Zoel :P ) she somehow tries to make the doctor jealous and tells her that she and Wade are an item. Little does she know that in the meantime Zoe has decided to stay in Bluebell!! Of course she did, she belongs there. And her super supportive boyfriend stayed with her...ugh! Honestly what does she see in Joel, there is no challenge and no passion whatsoever!!
So that basically was what happened in the season premiere....a lot of stuff to built a season on:
What will happen with Joel being in Bluebell? How much trouble is George in for starting somtething with Lovanes niece? Lemon and Wade...this is one of the biggest questionmarks: How long can they pretend to be a couple or will pretending lead to actuall feelings? How long will it take for Zoe to realize that she meade a hugr mistake by letting Wade go?
I really hope that all these questions will be answered one way or an other during this season and I can not wait for next weeks episode. And on a sidenote: How cute was the hiding game that they played with Jamie Kings (aka Lemon) baby bump? For everyone who hasnt noticed, you should rewatch the episode;)
