The Tomorrow People - Series Premiere

What would we do without Julie Plec and her awesome talend and creativity.....well maybe live a very boring live without any supernatural places to where we can escape to for 40 something minutes. The creator of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" has a new show waiting in the wings, called "The Tomorrow People" and it premiered last night! I was so generous and checked it out for you guys;) And if you liked the two other shows that I listed before, you are going to love this one!!

To be honest when I saw the first promo I wasn´t shure about the whole teleporting-species story line, but knowing Julie and her talented writers I knew I should give it a try. The show focuses on Stephen Jameson (aka. Robbie Amell....Stephen Amell´s cousin if I red correctly) who seems to have realy weird things happening to him. We see him waking up in his neighbors bed, hearing voices and a lot of other stuff. Turns out he´s not crazy but a part of a species called "The Tomorrow People", yeah that does not sound really cool, does it? Anyways he meets Cara, the voice that he kept hearing in his head, and John both are from the same species. They tell him that they need his talents and his help to find his father who he thought left him and his family for good. Turns out he didn´t but things are way more complicated!! So as every normal person Stephen does not believe a word he´s hearing and tries to go back to his life as nothing ever happened. But there would not be a show if this would work, right? So after an incident in school he gets kidnapped by Dr. Price and his pendants who´s mission it is to destroy the "Tomorrow People". With the help of his new found friends and his powers, who seem to be a lot stronger then the powers of the rest of the gang he manages to escape. But it turns out things are not that easy.....Dr. Jedikiah Price is his uncle!!! Wow, who saw that one coming?! I know I didn´t!

So at the end of the pilot Stephen has to make a decision, will he fight with "The Tomorrow People" or will he become part of his uncles group and destroy his own species? If you want to find out, you should definetely watch the episode!

After watching the first episode I can only recommend the new series! I loved the special effects, the stunts and I really loved Mark Pellegrino as the bad guy! Man he really scares the living **** out of me! Plus the rest of the cast is, as you can expect from a CW show not bad to look at;)
