The Following - Season 2 premiere
It´s that time again.....time to get the creeps over Joe Carroll and his followers. Whoever has missed the first season of "The Following"; first of all shame on you and second of all you should really start watching this show!
What is it about you ask? Well....it´s about a mass murderer (Joe Carroll; brilliantly played by James Purefoy) who escaped from a Virginia prison to finish his work by killing the only woman who survived. His biggest opponent Ryan Hardy, a FBI agent who published a book about the killings tries to prevent things from happening. It turns out that Carroll seems to have an entirely different plan then everybody thought: While he was in prison he had access to the internet and looked for "followers", who are fascinated with his work and his passion for Edgar Allan Poe. They help him with his attempt to write a whole new book. I will not spoil anything.....just be prepared to scream at the tv screen more then once;)

The last thing we had to witness in the season 1 finale was Ryan and Claire getting stabbed by their crazy a** neighbor. Will they survive? Will someone die? Is Carroll dead or was it an other trick? These where just some of the questions we had last year. And ALL of them got answered in the season 2 premiere:
The episode starts off with us finding out that someone found Ryan and Claire....they are brought to the hospital. In the next scene, we see Ryan waking up and immediately asking for Claire....ready people?! I wasn´t, just that you know: Claire did not make it,she died! Oh my freaking god, I loved the two of them together.....! After this shock we have a one year time jump.......and if you expected a drunk Ryan chilling in his house.....you where wrong (just like me btw;) ). He is healthy and fit! It´s the 1 year anniversary of Joe´s "death" and a NYC subway is devastated by a group of people wearing "Joe" masks....guys this is one of the creepiest things I have ever seen!
So of course now it´s time to get Ryan on board, right? WRONG!!The first person the FBI calls is Mike....wow! My jaw dropped! Okay they also ask Ryan but the other guy first...well okay then;)
The first half of the episode I thought that Ryans behaviour was kind of weird....I mean clearly there is a new cult with new/maybe a few old followers of a serial killer forming and he is not doing anything about it? Well....he does: Turns out he has started his own interrogation.
So the rest of the episode we learn a bit more about this new followers: There is a (spanish?) girl that creeps the hell out of me and twins that are even crazier (but nice to look at). Also we see Emma again. By the end of the episode we of course learn that Carroll did not die....which leaves a ton of questions that I´m dying to get answered this season!!!
