Sons of Anarchy Comic Con 2014 panel and casting info

There is this time of the year where every tv blogger won´t be available for his friends and family for a few days.....this time is called Comic Con :) My time to one out came yesterday, because it was time to experience the last ever Sons of Anarchy panel in the famous hall H. Unfortunately I did not have had the pleasure to be there live, but thanks to live tweeting, blogging, instagramming and so on it really felt like we where there with Kurt, Katey, Kim and friends :)
Unfortunately the lead of the show, Charlie Hunnam was not able to attend the last panel ever, but he was so kind to record a "special" message  for the fans:

I was crying tears, this was sooo good.....apparently Charlie directed this little skit himself...and he sure knows what the fans want to see ;)
Ok, whats there to say about a show, that unlike any other took us on a journey to hell and back and is still not finished?!

Kurt Sutter is asked the most important question right away: "Is Jax Tellers fate decided yet, or could it all change in the next few episodes ahead?" And the shows creator answers right away: NO! Sutter says, that he always had that idea in his mind, where the show and his main protagonist was going, but he tries to stay as loose to his concept as possible to ensure an amazing last season.
Next they talked abut the strongest reaction anyone ever had on the show and Paris Barcley answers: "Opies death"....it was the first time, that he realized, that all of this was not just a tv show, but a real brotherhood, a family! Wow even if you just listen to the cast talking about this scene and how they filmed it (at one point all of the cast was standing behind that glass window, watching the last seconds of "Opie Winston"...it was not in the script and we don´t see it in the actual scene....but just thinking about it breaks my heart!), you get goosebumps and you are kind of relaxed, that you are not the only one who is so extremely invested in the show ;)

Next up was a question for Theo Rossi aka. Juice: How does he feel that 86% of the viewers think, he´ll die very early into the season. He first is surprised by the low percentage, he was expecting more like 95%....and then he goes on joking that you´ll never see it coming...whatever that means. I personally think, that Juice could be the ultimate traitor of the Sons......he is so close to the edge, that his only way out could be to rat.....but well, it´s SOA, you never know;)
After this, they start talking about Venus´s return and what that could mean for Tig´s love life.....they do not really answer that, but Kim Coates says, he looks forward to working with the amazing Walton Goggins :)
Talking about Gemma now (sorry....I think I just threw up in my mouth a little....): When Katey Sagal is asked about her character and her more then questionable actions in the last few seasons and specifically in the last season, she answerers: "Ultimately she's always about 'What's the best things for the kids" and that her character will show even more layers in this last ride. To be honest, if Gemma wants to cover up that last big betrayal, she better has some layers on...otherwise she´ll be dead as soon as Jax is back from prison ;)
And then they showed something that I just can not wait to see.....the opening montage of the season 7 premiere.......I was not able to find it online yet, but MTV got a little review:

After that final sequence, shown at the panel Kurt Sutter got a standing ovation by the whole cast and all of the attendees....he even cried a little....and everyone who knows Sutter knows, that its is the last thing you´ll see him do in public. Good to see that he´s only human ;) But after the little speech that Paris gave him, I think everyone had watery eyes :)

So what did we learn from the last SoA panel at Comic Con 2014?

- Charlie Hunnam is one funny guy who likes to get his back rubbed by Elvis impersonators
- we have NO clue (as always) what will happen in season 7
- there will be some Venus-Tig action
- we will see naked Chibs ;)
- there will be a NOVEL (its called BRATVA) hitting stores in 2015
- there won´t be any spin-offs but Sutter still works on that "first 9" show......
- Gemma will take care of the kids in the first few episodes

That´s it for now.....as soon as I find the video with the first few minutes of SoA S7 I´ll post it right here...until then stay tuned :)

There are some very unexpected casting news....Lea Michelle from the tv show "Glee" (Paris works on that show too) will join the SoA group for one episode.....will see how this plays out ;)

What to you think about the SDCC panel and the surprising casting news?

Let´s talk tv!
