Hostages - series premiere

Okay to cut to the chase: If you are a fan of a show like "Scandal", you shoul definitely watch "Hostages" on CBS. I mean a FBI agent, who holds an entire family hostage with his team to kill the president just is too cray cray to imagine. My head exploded with questions when I watched the pilot......Why is he doing this? Why does he want the president dead? Is he really a FBI agent? Who is his team and why are they so screwed up?, I could go on for hours, but I´m shure you want this post to end at some point, right?
So at the beginning of the pilot we see the FBI agent Ducan Carlisle, played by the insanely talented Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story),save the day as he rescues hostages from bank robbers. The minute McDermott showed up on the screen I knew this would be a good show, the way his character interacts not only with the bank robbers but also with the rest of the FBI/ police agents you know that this guy is just badass and that he hides something. In the course of the episode we meet Dr. Ellen Sanders and her all american family, that we instantly know is not as perfect as they like everyone to think (cheating husband, maybe pregnant daughter, drug dealing son, bla bla bla)...the only normal one seems to be the dog:) We learn, that Ellen is set to operate on the president the next day and as everyone around her is freaking out she tries not to let things go too crazy. Well since the show is called "Hostages" we pretty soon learn that Ellen and her family were passed the buck as they are now stuck in their own house. The doctor gets some instructions from Carlisle with the ultimate "goal": the presidents death during surgery. After a few scenes that make your heart stop for a few mili seconds the first day has passed. The next day we follow Ellen into the hostpital, she seems determined to go through with Ducans plan. at the end of the episode the viewers and the hostage-taker crew learn, that you should not f**k with Dr. Ellen Sanders. If you want to know what I mean I strongly encourage you to watch the pilot.....believe me you will not be disappointed!!

Okay ladies and gentelman.....let´s talk tv!
