After they already made a very successful movie starring Hugh Grant and Nicolas Hoult in 2002 and now we have a brand new tv show!!
The show is developed by Jason Katnis and premiered on NBC three weeks ago. I saw the promo for "About a Boy" a while ago and decided I will check it out:
Just like in the movie you have this womanizer who does not seem to have a care in the world until this more then weird kid shows up and turns his world upside down!
Fiona and her son Marcus move in right next to Will and although (as you can see in the promo) Will is not really interested in spending to much time with the child. But he is not heartless, so he tries to show him a good time....well as you can imagine this clashes with the parenting ;) The dialogues are hilarious and to see Marcus experience a totally new world is just priceless. Also Will has NO idea how to handle kids and just treats them as "little grown ups"...amazing!!
If you loved the book and the movie you should SO watch the show! It´s on every Tuesday and it´s 20 minutes full of fun!! Amazing new comedy with a great cast!!
